Launch of

Enable SSH

By default the SSH access is blocked by the firewall. If you want to enable the SSH access you have to gain access to the Linux terminal through the serial console and open the SSH port (port 22 by default). To do this, you must add a new firewall rule using UCI.

Following, a configuration example:

uci add firewall rule
uci set firewall.@rule[-1].src=wan
uci set firewall.@rule[-1].target=ACCEPT
uci set firewall.@rule[-1].proto=tcp
uci set firewall.@rule[-1].dest_port=22
uci commit firewall

One you have configured the firewall, you have to restart the firewall daemon

/etc/init.d/firewall restart
